Mission“Our mission is to promote the growth of pharmacy students into practitioners characterized by a commitment to patient care, service, ethical behavior, and continuous personal and professional improvement.” Umbrella Structure |
About The Kentucky Alliance
of Pharmacy Students, or KAPS for short, is an umbrella organization which
encompasses our student chapters of three national organizations – the American
Pharmacists Association (APhA), the American Society of Health-System
Pharmacists (ASHP), and the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA).
The overall goal of the organization is to work through our three organizations and various committees in order to provide KAPS members with the resources necessary to development as student pharmacists and realize their full potential as healthcare practitioners. We work to offer our members hands-on healthcare experience beyond the classroom, allowing them to develop the skills expected of top pharmacists today and throughout their career. Our members graduate with the skills and experience they need to remain at the top of their profession, as we are preparing the pharmacist of tomorrow. |
