Any student having fulfilled one year of service as an APhA-ASP Executive Officer
and has attended at least one APhA meeting* a. APhA-ASP President b. APhA-ASP President-elect c. International Vice President (Public Health Chair) d. Membership Vice President (KAPS Chair-Elect) e. Patient Care Vice President (KAPS Director of Committees) f. Policy Vice President (Legislative Chair) g. Communications Vice President (KAPS Secretary) h. Financial Vice President (KAPS Treasurer) 2. Any student having served one year as an APhA-ASP Patient Care Project Committee Chair and who has attended at least one APhA meeting* a. Operation Diabetes Chair b. Operation Heart Chair c. Operation Immunization Chair d. Operation Self-Care Chair e. 1. What year in pharmacy school are you? PY2 2. Where did you do your pre-pharmacy work? Campbellsville University 3. How many years in undergrad? 2 4. Tell us about what your elected position does in KAPS. My primary role is to learn from and support the current APhA-ASP President. Together we will plan events to promote the mission of the American Pharmacists Association and provide our students with opportunities to grow as leaders in pharmacy practice. 5. What got you into pharmacy and what are your pharmacy interests? I took a pharmacy technician class in high school and I absolutely fell in love! I hope to pursue a career in independent community pharmacy practice. 6. What’s your favorite thing about KAPS? There is truly a place for every pharmacy student. Whatever your unique interests may be, KAPS has opportunities for you to grow your skills and gain invaluable experience. 7. What are you planning for KAPS for the upcoming school year? We are hoping to bring back some of the pre-COVID events, as well as start some new programs! |
